Weekend Box Office results for 3/14/10

14 Mar

Alice extended her reign over the Box Office to two weeks with a large margin victory over her competitors this weekend.

There were a slew of newcomers and most of them performed pretty poorly.  The biggest disappoint has to be Matt Damon’s Green Zone.  It was produced for approximately $100 million and couldn’t even bring in $20 million on its opening weekend.  Robert Pattinson‘s first main stream film after the first two Twilight films, Remember Me, opened modestly and included a slew of mixed reviews.

Top 10 Box Office Estimates for 3/12-3/14:

1-Alice in Wonderland – $62 million
2-Green Zone – $14.5 million
3-She’s Out of my League – $9.6 million
4-Remember Me – $8.3 million
5-Shutter Island – $8.14 million
6-Our Family Wedding – $7.6 million
