Weekend Box Office Results for 4/11/10

As of today, it looks like the Tina Fey/Steve Carell comedy, Date Night, has taken the top spot this weekend.  But, by Monday, it is still possible that Clash of the Titans could take over.  There is less than a $500,000 difference as of today’s estimated figures.

Apart from the top spot war that will be decided for sure tomorrow, How to Train Your Dragon, in its third week of release, is showing some legs with another $20 million plus weekend.

Box Office Mojo’s Top 10 Box Office Estimates for 4/09-4/11:

1. Date Night – $27.1 million
2. Clash of the Titans – $26.8 million
3. How to Train Your Dragon – $25.3 million
4. Why Did I Get Married Too? – $11 million
5. The Last Song – $10 million
6. Alice in Wonderland – $5.6 million
7. Hot Tub Time Machine – $5.4 million
8. The Bounty Hunter – $4.3 million
9. Diary of a Wimpy Kid – $4.1 million
10. Letters to God – $1.2 million
