So all of you hard-core movie fans out there know what every Tuesday is, right?  It is new DVD release day.  I look forward to this day every week and I always have my Netflix set up ahead of time to make sure I get the newest flicks that are out there.  Here’s a short list of what is coming out today:

Weekend Box Office Results for 4/11/10

As of today, it looks like the Tina Fey/Steve Carell comedy, Date Night, has taken the top spot this weekend.  But, by Monday, it is still possible that Clash of the Titans could take over.  There is less than a $500,000 difference as of today’s estimated figures.

Apart from the top spot war that will be decided for sure tomorrow, How to Train Your Dragon, in its third week of release, is showing some legs with another $20 million plus weekend.

1. Date Night – $27.1 million
2. Clash of the Titans – $26.8 million
3. How to Train Your Dragon – $25.3 million
4. Why Did I Get Married Too? – $11 million

8. The Bounty Hunter – $4.3 million

Weekend Box Office Results for 4/02/10

The highly anticipated Clash of the Titans started off a little slow on Thursday with around $4 million, but made up for it over the weekend.  The remake of the 1981 film finished on top and broke the Easter weekend record of $40 million, held by Scary Movie 4 in 2006.
