Life Unexpected Could Be The Future Of The CW

22 Feb

I remember the days of The WB and the great dramas that began in the late  90’s: Dawson’s Creek, Felicity, Buffy and Gilmore Girls.  Once The WB became extinct and morphed into The CW, many thought the dramas would fall by the wayside.  There have been some successful dramas over the last few years: One Tree Hill, Supernatural and Smallville.  However, with the addition of the popular new series The Vampire Diaries, many felt that The CW might finally be coming into its own.

This past January, The CW introduced a new show that has the heart and humor of The WB shows of past.  The cast is great, the chemistry is there and the stories work.  That is a great way to start out!  The ratings are still struggling a bit, but I highly recommend this show to anyone who is/was a fan of the shows I mentioned earlier.  One of the great things about the show too is that it’s not just a teen drama filled with teen angst.  The relationships with the adults are just as intriguing, if not more so than the storylines surrounding the main character, played by Britt RobertsonShiri Appleby, Kristoffer Polaha and Kerr Smith are no strangers to fans and they just mesh so well on this show.

If you haven’t had a chance to check this show out yet, please get to it.  It airs Monday nights at 9/8c on The CW.  You won’t be disappointed.
